On Friday 12th October Connexica hosted its first ever CXAIR Conference at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham. The museum, situated just off the M42 and located next to Birmingham International Airport was the prime location for delegates to travel to. The museum itself boasts the world’s largest collection of British motorcycles, which covers over a century of motorcycle manufacturing.
A good number of delegates were in attendance, from across the UK & Europe. The first wave of delegates arrived at around 8:30am and guests were greeted and treated on the door with a “goody bag” that contained a few special gifts from us, that we hope, will prove to be of some use.
Proceedings kicked off at around 9:00am, with a lunch break that provided a great opportunity for guests to network and with the opportunity to enjoy the museum at their own pace taking in all of the vintage motorcycles that the museum had to offer. The last presentation took place at around 15:15pm and ended shortly after some Q&A at around 4:00pm. It was a thoroughly great day to be a part of and associated with Connexica, made even better by sharing it with others excited by the continued development of CXAIR.
Invaluable feedback was provided to us throughout the day and even after the conference. We hope that through the presentations that took place at the event; each delegate came away having learned something new, reminded them of something that they had long forgotten, or even better, inspired them within their respective companies.
A massive thank you to all who attended from us here at Connexica and extra thanks to those of you who filled in the feedback form (if you haven’t filled in a form and still want to, there’s a link at the bottom of this article). Whilst special thanks goes to Greg Richards, Kevin Strachan and Ross Beck for their parts in preparing and then delivering their presentations so well on the big day. Special thanks must also go to our distinguished guest speakers; Nicky Hawkins and Mark Hobart of Clearview Systems and James Thompson of Intelligent Solutions, who provided interesting insights on their experiences on using CXAIR.
We at Connexica hope that you enjoyed yourselves and very much look forward to seeing you all at our next conference event. For those of you that didn’t attend, make sure you come next time!
