Last week saw UK Business Intelligence software developers Connexica attend the unique two-day Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Summit in Amsterdam. This year one of the events platinum sponsors was Systemation who are the official reseller and distributor of CXAIR throughout the Benelux region.
One of the highlights of the event was an informative Case Study presentation by Bernt van Raamsdonk – Smit the Regional Finance Director of GrandVision, who showcased their experiences of rolling out CXAIR throughout their global organisation within the optical retail industry. The presentation included a live demonstration of CXAIR showing how the product has been used to provide financial and performance information to their extensive network of stores.
The event is an international conference with top rated speakers from the field including Mike Ferguson, Claudia Imhoff, Rick Van der Lans and Colin White. The topics of the conference ranged from Business Intelligence as a whole to Social Media Analytics to Big Data.
Following the event Systemation held a CXAIR user group session where a series of informal presentations were made to many of the existing Benelux CXAIR customers including a follow-up presentation by Bernt Van Raamsdonk – Smit of GrandVision and a CXAIR Roadmap presentation by Connexica Managing Director Richard Lewis. The evening was finished off with a meal at the Mercure Hotel and proved to be a great success.
Both days were well-attended and provided key insight into the current trends in Big Data, Hadoop, NoSQL and Real-time operational intelligence.
