Last night saw Connexica attend The Sentinel Business Awards held at The King’s Hall in Stoke-on-Trent. It was a great opportunity for local businesses to come together, celebrate business and innovation locally and be recognised within their respective categories.
The evening was attended by local businesses from a variety of sectors including engineering, logistics, energy and also local pottery companies such as Wade and Portmeirion. Attendees included business leaders such as Dragons Den’s Sarah Willingham, Peter Coates, the Chairman of Stoke City, and also Stephen Burgin, Vice President of GE Power in Europe who was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Recognition.
This year saw a record number of award entries, with Connexica shortlisted for the Science and Technology award for their business analytics solution: CXAIR, Search Powered Business Analytics. Connexica competed with Capula and WoolCool for first place within the category but were beaten by the winners, WoolCool.
